And I'm scared. If someone is following you-on blogger-and they choose to remain anonymous, does that make him or her, instead, a
"stalker?" In movies, when a person says, "I think a car is
following me," it is usually said immediately after he/she looked in the rear-view mirror to clearly see a car...
following. However, NEVER has someone said, "I think a lion is
stalking me." Why? Because when a person finally realizes that they have been stalked by a lion,
they're being eaten!
Your honor, I rest my case.
EDIT:
Your move, Blogger...
I think you bring up an interesting point. However, these days being stalked by anything or anyone is a compliment. People are so starved for any form of human interaction and attention that they are risking their safety. Like, "Oh hey creepy killer, I'm at Denny's, I parked in the handicap spot, and guess what? I have a groupon if you want to join me!"
ReplyDeleteYour post made me laugh, thanks for sharing!
Looking back, I can now see just how delirious I was when I wrote this post; it was my "stay up all night and day and finish everything" week.
DeleteOn a serious note, I very much agree with you. The only circumstance that I can see that requires telling everyone where you are is if you're specifically INVITING them (to a restaurant, to a party, etc.) If you're not inviting everybody, turn the GPS off.
It's Prof. Murphy stalking you... it probably shows on everyone's the same way.
ReplyDeleteeither that or perhaps its me. <_<.....>_>.....^_^
